As a conscientious employer the WU Wien can enhance the implementation of an inclusive working environment e. g. by creating new jobs for disabled tutors. For us a successful inclusion is based on an atmosphere of respect, in which diversity becomes a natural and rewarding experience. For this purpose our modern, accessible campus offers the ideal environment.

We have to see skills and abilities first, no matter if we are dealing with disabled people or anybody else. If we only concentrate on somebody’s limitations, we miss the chance to fully exploit her or his potential.

I acknowledge universities as a place of diversity: our broad fields of activity offer numerous possibilities to employ, support and challenge disabled people according to their qualifications and skills. Why should a university not be perfectly suitable as workplace for disabled people?
