I am a qualified nurse and had to change my job because of an accident at work. Since 1999 I have been working at the TU Wien at the library and information department. My major focuses are the support of disabled library users, the computer workplace for visually impaired and blind people and TU Wien barrierefrei, a service point for disabled students.
Because I am committed to the topic disability and inclusion of disabled people, I have been supporting equality and equal opportunities since 2004 in my position as representative of disabled people.
Furthermore, I am interested in theory and practice of spine exercise (Klein-Vogelbach, Feldenkrais, Dr. Brugger, Alexander, Iyengar-Yoga).
We are also responsible for things, we don’t do. I am looking forward to the day it is normal to be different and equal opportunities for people with disabilities are practiced.
